Ganesha Chaturthi, the great Ganesha festival, also known as ‘Vinayak Chaturthi’ or ‘Vinayaka Chavithi’ is celebrated by Hindus around the world as the birthday of Lord Ganesha.<\/p>\n

Ganesha is the Lord who is first worshipped before any holy occasion or puja. He is revered as the preserver of all good things and prevents Vigna (meaning obstruction\/bad omen). His motto is Shubh-Laabh (good prospect and good prosperity)<\/p>\n
